What matters in adventure watches
Every watch here has built-in GPS and a case made for the outdoors; the gaps that matter on a trail are narrower. How long it runs as a smartwatch and how many hours it records in its most accurate GPS mode, whether it uses dual-frequency GPS, whether it carries maps you can follow offline, whether it has a flashlight and a sapphire lens, how deep it is rated, and whether there is an ECG or a cellular version.
